NAVIGATE TO MARINA DEL RAY
Lombok Marina Del Ray is the only deep, naturally protected, private marina in Asia. Indonesia has no cyclones, typhoons or an extended wet season and our Marina Basin is capable of safely mooring or berthing 400 yachts, including Super yachts up to 300 meters. The marina bay’s depth is an average of 20 meters MLW. We have 2 access channels with West and North approaches. Our location is 08.45.600 S; 115.55.96 E. Yachts approaching from the North should approach way point 08.43.380 S; 115.56.200 E then proceed in a southerly direction, bearing 186 degrees, for approx. 2.6 NM to way point to 08.45.490 S; 115.56.15 E, then to the Marina. The entrance between the South Eastern Cape of Gili Gede Island and mainland Lombok has a 900 meter wide navigable channel with 20 meters of depth MLW. Boats approaching from the western quadrant can reach way point: 08.42.256 S; 115.52.210 E, then proceed on a bearing of 140 degrees approx. for 4.5 NM to way point 08.45.740 S; 115.55.100 E. Keep a lookout for fixed positioned Pearl farms on either side. You will find a 200 meter wide navigable channel with a varying depth between 40 to 25 meters. Once arriving at the way point proceed towards the Marina location. A flashing white light marks the position of our wharf, Yacht Club Marina Dock. We recommend the northern entrance after sunset, standing off 100 metres from the NW - SE shoreline of Gili Gede, and running parallel to the shoreline before rounding the SE entrance to the Marina. We Monitor VHF Channels 16, 80 and 69. Fair Winds.
